The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for the next class of the Lexington County Public Safety Citizens Academy. The class begins March 3 and graduation is May 12. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 7 to 11 p.m. The academy offers a hands-on course about law enforcement, fire and EMS operations.
