July 3 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks advanced, building on their biggest weekly gain since January, on speculation that a manufacturing report will give the Federal Reserve more leeway to hold off on raising interest rates.

The assignment slate for colonel-level command and command-equivalent positions for fiscal 2007 will be released July 13. The assignments will go to Army Competitive Category and Medical Department colonels and promotable lieutenant colonels who were selected by boards that met in January.

HONG KONG, July 4 (Reuters) - Asian offshore bond issuances in the first half of 2006 rose to $22.1 billion in January-June from $21.3 billion a year earlier, data provider Dealogic said.

From January to June inclusive, Kinepolis Group ( Nachrichten ) welcomed 11.8 million visitors. The overall visitor figure for the first six months (11.8 million) was up 10.5% compared with last year (10.7 million).

RAK panel settles 77 disputes of families in six months (Khaleej Times)

RAS AL KHAIMAH — The RAK Family Disputes Committee (FDC) has looked into more than 228 cases since its inception in January last. "Most of these cases pertained to marital differences filed by national as well as expatriate families," said Jasim Mohammed Al Maki, head of the FDC.
