TOKYO (XFN-ASIA) - The index of leading economic indicators rose to 75.0 in May from 54.5 in April, preliminary data from the Cabinet Office show. The figure matches market expectations, as expressed in the results of a survey of 16 brokerage and research institutes by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun.
